2026 Vegetable Garden

This year the wife chose to buy heirloom seeds. We germinated them under a light table, then started them in the tent before moving outside. Growing in ten-gallon hard pots. Should have gone heirloom 30 years ago!

May 24 2026 - Vegetable garden prepared and plant starts transplanted. Plants are all heirloom. Cherry, Roma, Early Girl Tomatoes. Anaheim Chiles. Red/Green Bells.

Polycarbonate panels installed front/roof . 15 plants at 4 nodes ready to transplant to 15 gallon containers. Soil amendments N, P, K , Mg and rooting hormone. Azamax soil drench.

Bell Peppers (red & green), Resident Blueberry bushes

Anaheim Peppers, Early Tomatoes and Watermelon

Roma and Cherry Tomatoes

2026 Greenhouse Project

Project began Spring 2025

2026 Construction - Added polycarbonate panels front face and roof . Began replacing framing with 4"x4" treated.

2026 Greenhouse Garden

Bruce Banner #3 x Afghan Landrace F2 (generational).

May 04 2026 Discarded soil from early December ‘25 seeded Harvest. Seeds lay dormant through winter.

Wasn’t sure what my outdoor strain was going to be. The Afghan landrace strain that was planned was not viable and only 2 of 20 germinated. (seeds were collected 2018)

This BB#3A strain just does not want to let us go. Seeds were gifted from a grower whose indoor was open pollinated about 5 years ago. I was gifted three different strains all with the same Afghan father.

Some phenotypes show early sex. Some males flower and pollen early in the growth stage.

May 06 2026 - 15 sprouts transplanted.

05 30 2026 Transplant 12 plants to final containers with 3 in reserve for transplant into the ground.

Added one-gallon warm ph adjusted (for 3 gallons) and Big Bloom mix to 2 gallons water. Plants are at 5 nodes with secondary branches advancing.

June 11 2026 - June 13 2026 Garden

June 13 2026 Male flowers identified one plant.

June 16, 2026, Garden. 9 plants showing pistils.

June17, 2026 Garden. Feeding plants Foxfarm Trio according to schedule one time a week and watering one time a week. Garden has a resident dark eyed junco. Today just a little nervous she flew onto a brace but stayed with me. 10 females 2 males identified.

June 22, 2026, Garden

June 25, 2026 two that were left behind. In the ground growing wild. They sprouted the same time as the greenhouse plants.

June 26, 2026 Two males removed from green house and placed outside out of the way. Early into sexing some flowers have opened and pollen on finger when touched. Plan is collect and breed instead of open garden pollination.

High temperatures have caused some tacoing (heat stress). A fan has been installed. Maybe a kiddie pool of water to see if I can up humidity, if not useful, I’ll add some light filtering like a sun visor to reduce temperature.

June 30, 2026, Garden plants hitting 50” (1.27 m) and really filling out well. Some lower fans pinched off. They can’t keep up with growth.

About 2 feet (0.6 m) more and some will hit the roof panels. 40 % sunshade ordered and on the way. Just watching them grow inch by mm. Bored!!!

Your garden is very beautiful! And also the way this Topic is developing is inspiring me how our App can be enjoyed at her best when we all become more experts on the enviroment here.

To set an “cover” image at the begin of the post will allow to give an identity to it and for example everyone can create like this their channels were others can come to enjoy and discuss about with the creator of the Topic Channel

Under the cover can publish a video with music and we can avoid all problems related to Copyright just embedding from platforms that have that already set up (like YouTube for example) or using CC music

When you open a music / video file he do not close automatic and you can continue to experience the Topic listening to the music of the creator

If the topic becomes very long the creator can add music / video videos at different levels

If the creator like to edit the “cover image” (the first published image visible on the Home can always edit that any time they want and same goes for the music and anything else published by themselves

Make a try , turn on the “3 cool Cat Music” and go around to watch the pictures from your :ganja: garden. Very cool , yeah?

You can even work on edits and still listening to the music!  :bud:
