Last year Sia from DNA Genetics gives me some different seeds from some of their best selections to try out. Here you can see the OG#18
The seeds where very small on size that I call him to tell “the seeds small like this?”
Him said “from small seeds you have the best ganja”
Well this rule doesn’t always apply for thai ganja so I was very curios, but this variety was very rewarding you can see by yourself in this photos
I popped the seeds for Christmas and I harvested at the end of February
This plant was healthy but I suggest to remove all sticks as soon as you can to avoid issues as this flowers are too big and compact and the risk is high
The smell is fruity and gassy very pleasant and modern
The smoke is smooth and full bodied a true classic
And here after a storm (luckly the only one we had this season) As you can see is a very strong plant wasn’t damaged at all. Also remarkably pest resistant aside some small damages on the bigger leaves no attacks of any kind of pest.
It’s the second time I order Prempavee’s OG Kush #18. This cultivar is a little more on the full body effect side than the OG Kush I grew a few years ago (that was not sedative at all, but like a blissful instantaneous spell). Prempavee’s OG is very strong like it should be, effects last for very long (organic is superior in that field to indoor grows).
It would be interesting to try and grow Todd Mc Cormick’s OG Kush to see what your northern Thailand climate and ecosystem bring out of his seeds (he has been growing that same cultivar for decades- I sent him an email on his site but I guess he is too busy to come and check your forum).
Anyone interesting in a great potent high should try Prem’s /DNA genetics version, you can’t be disappointed.
