Hello everyone in the Pempavee Forum,

Sawasdee krub! I’m a home grower and seed collector, breeder based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. I’ve been following Thai landraces and Asian genetics for years and really respect the preservation work happening in Thailand.

I wanted to share a new app that I believe could be very useful for all of us who maintain seed collections: 4/20 Seed Vault — a community-driven Progressive Web App built for serious growers and breeders.

  • Smart bulk import — take photos/screenshots of seed packs or upload CSV/PDF. The AI handles most of the data entry automatically.

  • QR code label printing (supports Avery 5160 labels) — scan the QR with your phone to instantly pull up the full seed record. Great for physical storage organization.

  • Community database — already over 10,000 cultivars indexed. You can contribute your own seeds (option to stay anonymous) to help build a shared global resource, especially valuable for rare landraces.

  • Pheno hunting tools and detailed tracking.

  • Fully offline capable as a PWA — install it on your phone and use it anywhere, even in the garden.

Aloha & we can learn how to do it better with a little help from the Mushroom professionals who are masters at DNA for less? Using names only leaves much to be desired in 2026?

Aloha & we learned from the mushroom growers and professionals from the 1980s on they had the best info on composting too. Now in 2026 we are still learning from gifts from above like Alan and Paul Staments.
